Database management is handled using Microsoft Desktop Engine (MSDE 2000). The common technology base shared between SQL Server and MSDE 2000 enables the Access Sentry to scale seamlessly from portable computers to multiprocessor clusters. Using open database connectivity (ODBC), Access Sentry can access employee information from the customer's database preventing redundant data input.

And because Access Sentry is Windows®-based, you'll be sure that your personnel will be able to use Access Sentry to its fullest potential.

Setup is fast & easy. Just insert the CD-ROM in any Windows-based PC and you'll be ready to go in minutes.

If you know how to use Windows-based programs, you know how to use the easy, point-and-click Access Sentry system.

  Logging Features
  Access Sentry lets you track just about anything that goes in or out of your campus. That includes:
  • Guest Logging - for visitors entering and exiting the campus.
  • Contractor Logging - for vendors visiting the campus, either short- or long-term.
  • Employee Logging - for temporarily replacing lost, stolen, or forgotten employee badges.
  • Delivery Logging - for delivery drivers and the packages they bring/pick up.
  • Restricted Monitoring - for notification of unwanted/restricted persons on campus.
  • Group Logging - for streamlining the logging process when large groups of people visit.
  • Lost & Found Logging - for recording items that have been lost or found on the campus.

  • Driver's License \ Business Card Scanner - It's simple to use. Just slide any standard-size business card or drivers license into the scanner, and you have an instant, accurate record with virtually no effort. The information is captured through optical character recognition.

  • Passport Scanner - It's easy to use. Just lay the passport on the flat-bed scanner and reduce human error by automating the archiving process. This scanner will also import ID data with picture, business card data and passports. A very comprehensive scanning solution when added to Access Sentry.

  • Badge Printer - A compact badge printer. It's perfect for printing professional-looking visitor badges without using a lot of desk space.
